Back to the grindstone…

Hi everyone, I’m back from holidays. Egypt and Jordan were great, Petra stunning, sun shining, people friendly. I am now extremely brown and have lots of exciting new stamps in my passport – which is the main point of going on holiday, isn’t it?

Everything here has been continuing apace. We’ve now got lots of volunteer scientists (but I’m still accepting applications until the end of this week, if you’re interested). There are also some promising applications for the intern position. Interviews will be on Thursday, and hopefully the new intern will start next week, which will be a relief to me. There’s so much admin to do and poor Elliot, our office junior, can’t cope with all of it.

Our teacher packs are at the printers and will hopefully be ready to send out early next week. Building and testing the website is going on as I write. There’s a lot to do, but it seems to be pretty much under control. Although possibly this means I’ve forgotten something crucial…
