This report looks at activity across the I’m a… programme during the Autumn 2025/26 term (September to December 2025), including:
- I’m a Scientist, Get me out of here (IAS)
- I’m an Engineer, Get me out of here (IAE)
- I’m a Mathematician, Get me out of here (IAM)
- I’m a Computer Scientist, Get me out of here (IACS)
- I’m a Geographer, Get me out of here (IAG):
Launched as a pilot activity in November 2025
Summary:
- An estimated 5,961 students actively took part, from 145 schools
- 68% of participating schools were priority schools
- 318 Chats were booked, comprising 79,369 lines of Chat
- Students asked 589 follow-up questions, and received a total of 948 answers
- 387 volunteers (including scientists, engineers, mathematicians, computer scientists, and geographers) were active
- Together, they volunteered an estimated total of 1,517 hours
