The 101 Jobs That Change The World Zone ran from 7 June 2021 to 15 July 2022 and was funded by UKRI and complemented their campaign highlighting the many roles contributing to research and innovation
The activity featured 16 participants working within a wide range of careers in research and innovation.

Participants
16 participants created profiles in the Zone. See who took part ❯
Students
938 students from 30 schools connected with participants in live Chats or through follow-up questions.
82% of active students were from priority schools: 45% from widening participation schools and 56% from underserved schools.
Live Chats
46 live Chats took place during the activity having been booked by teachers. An additional 7 live Chats were requested but couldn’t take place due to limited participant availability. The requested Chats included 4 additional schools. 23 Chats were cancelled by the teacher or the school didn’t attend without cancelling.
Prior to the summer term, the average number of participants per live Chat was 4. Following the summer term, this average was reduced to 2 due to reduced participant availability.
